Reporting a bug

The most useful bug report contains three things: the tool you were using, the browser and version, and what the file was like. "Merge PDF failed" is hard to act on. "Merge PDF hung on a 400 MB scanned file in Firefox 128" is a fix.

We cannot ask you to send the file, because we have built a site premised on never receiving one. If you can reproduce the problem with a file you are comfortable sharing, that helps enormously. If not, describe it.

Requesting a tool

Tell us the task, not the tool. "I need to remove the blank pages a scanner inserts" is a better request than "add a blank page remover", because the first one describes a problem and the second one assumes a solution.

Two things will get a request declined. First, if it cannot be done well in a browser — OCR and background removal both fall here. Second, if it would need a server, because that would mean receiving your file, which is the one thing this site does not do.

Privacy questions

The privacy policy covers what is and is not collected. If you have a question it does not answer, or you believe personal data is being held about you, get in touch and we will investigate and respond.
